The Paunic Distillery has a long tradition in producing homemade brandy. Our grandfather Branko started to make brandy with his father 60 years ago for his family and friends. The tradition continuous with his son Pavle and, in 2009, his grandson Branislav, Bachelor with Honours in Agricultural engineering. The same year they registered their firm as "Economy Pavle Paunic" and with that the brandy production has been improved and modernized.
That is how Paunic family, with knowledge and experience, creates brand "Paunic Brandy"
Paunic family has been producing fruits for a very long time. One part of that fruits goes to the market and the other one is being manufactured into brandy. Every member of the family has his part in manufacturing process. Just the finest, handpicked, ripe fruits are used for making brandy. The most important thing for us is quality, not quantity.
The brandy is traditionaly manufactured in a copper cauldron. Thanks to the climate and soil, healthy fruits and precious copper, to the skills, knowledge and dedication combined in perfect harmony, our brandy has a unique natural taste and supreme quality. The brandy is kept in glass baloons, inox tank and oak casks.
In Paunic Distillery we produce several types of brandy: from apricot, plum, grape and peach.
The main phases of quality brandy production are: obtaining HACCP system, selective harvesting of the most quality fruits, manufacturing, controlled fermentation, and slow distillation. The brandy should be left aging for at least two years in order to develop it's true taste and aroma. To each of these phases we pay lots of attention, full devotion and hard work. That is why we produce only limited editions of supreme quality.
And there are many awards and medals from various festivals, exhibitions and competitions to testify to our supreme brand quality.
